Dan imagines a world free of viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis C that currently affect over 250 million people worldwide. His research at the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research is aimed at eradicating these chronic viral infections globally, through the development of cost effective vaccines. Dan studied a Bachelor of Biotechnology and PhD in Immunology at the Australian National University and is currently The Hospital Research Foundation’s Early Career Research Fellow.
