3D holographic goggles, submarines and flight simulators
Recognised as a premier global defence and security company, Saab has also recently turned its hand to redefining how the world trains and learns, through the creation of remarkable applications for Microsoft’s new HoloLens technology.
Although you could be forgiven for mistaking the HoloLens for a stylish set of skiing goggles, it’s actually the world’s first fully untethered holographic computer, and enables the wearer to view—and interact with—hi-def 3D imagery.
Saab’s been appointed as one of a select group of companies to develop innovative new uses for the HoloLens. And their customised education and training platforms—which they’re perfecting right here in Adelaide—are set to enable faster learning, better retention and more detailed assessment than ever before.
You can be among the first to give them a try at Science Alive! 2017.
Plus, Saab will have a highly detailed giant model submarine on display, along with a submarine simulator. And you can test your ‘Top Gun’ skills in their advanced fighter jet simulator.
